Terms and Conditions for a Free Prize Draw

1. This competition is open to all UK residents aged 18 years or over except employees of the RNLI.

2. No donation is necessary. To enter please fill in this entry form and return it to RNLI beachwise questionnaire, FREEPOST BH173, West Quay Rd, Poole, Dorset. BG15 1XF. 

3. Only one entry per person is permitted.

4. The prize is a 3 night break for a family of 4 (sharing 1 family room) at the Lifeboat College at RNLI Headquarters, West Quay Road, Poole. This will include breakfast and an evening meal, travel is not included and the stay will be on mutually agreed dates.("the prize").

5. The prize is non-transferable and there is no cash alternative.

6. The RNLI can accept no responsibility for, and reserves the right to refuse, entries, which are corrupt, incomplete, lost or damaged, or fail to arrive by the Closing Date.

7. In the event of any dispute regarding the competition, the decision of the RNLI shall be binding and no correspondence or discussion shall be entered into.

8. Please return entries no later than 12pm on Tuesday 30th September 2008 ("the Closing Date").

9. The prize winner will be selected at random on Wednesday 1st October 2008 from all the entries received by the Closing Date and the winner will be notified by phone, email or letter within [14 days] from the date of the draw. The prize draw will be supervised by an independent person.

10. The prize will be posted to the winner by recorded delivery. If a winner does not claim a prize within 28 days of being notified, or if a winner is not available to take up the prize, the RNLI reserves the right to award the prize to another entrant without liability to the winner.

11. The winner's name will be published on the RNLI's website.

12. The RNLI reserve the right to use the winner's name, age and hometown and publish those details on RNLI.org.uk.

13. By entering the competition you will automatically be entered on to the RNLI database and will be eligible to receive RNLI news and mailings from the RNLI's trading companies who raise funds in support of the RNLI. Any personal data collected will be used solely in accordance with applicable data protection legislation. Please see the RNLI's privacy policy on for further details. We never give your information to other organisations.

14. Entry into the draw will be deemed to constitute acceptance of these terms and conditions.

15. These rules are governed by English law and subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English Courts.
