The RNLI Heritage Trust maintains a diverse collection of historic lifeboat related items, including:

- Fine art collection
- Model lifeboat collection
- Lifeboat souvenirs and memorabilia
- RNLI library
- RNLI archive: historic documents and selected photographs
- Historic lifeboats on loan

The library and archive is based in Poole, as is the core of the fine art and model collections.

Researchers are welcome to visit the library and archive, by appointment.

Objects in store are also available for study, by prior appointment.

Location: RNLI headquarters. Visitor parking available.

Monday and Thursday only
Library archive: 9.30am - 12.30pm. Object collections: by appointment only
