Steve has chosen his fondness for open-water swimming to raise awareness of the RNLI and he's about to do it again.
 
Steve took part in the first RNLI Castle to Castle swim in Falmouth in 2009 and will be donning his wetsuit again for the one mile open-water event which takes place on Sunday 6 June 2010.
 
Completing the course in an impressive 46 minutes, Steve then went on to complete the Great North Swim at Lake Windermere in September 2009 in an even quicker time of 35 minutes, again on behalf of the RNLI, and he'll be looking to better that time at this year's Falmouth swim.

The swim will be started at 12.30pm and if you are interested in participating, capable of swimming at least one mile in open water and happy to guarantee to raise a minimum of £50 in sponsorship, then please contact Dave Nicoll via email cornwall@rnli.org.uk or by calling 01326 210008.  Swimmers will be required to wear a wetsuit.
