Shirley Robertson - Olympic sailor/broadcaster

Double Olympic gold medallist, Shirley Robertson, is lending her support to the RNLI as an ambassador for the charity at Cowes Week 2010.
Shirley Robertson was the first British athlete to win consecutive gold medals at the Olympic games in Athens 2004, having secured her first Olympic gold medal back in 2000 - the same year that she was named female sailor of the year by the International Sailing Federation.
As charity of the year of Cowes Week 2010, the RNLI is delighted that Shirley will be supporting the charity throughout the week.
