Seago Lifejacket Safety Warning

We have become aware that some Mailspeed Charter Lifejackets and some Seago 150N and 175N Lifejackets may have a defect which could result in serious injury.

The Lifejackets are marked with a manufacturer date in Roman numerals, for instance the last quarter of 2005 is shown as IV/O5.

If you own a Mailspeed Charter Lifejacket or a Seago 150N or Seago 175N Lifejacket then please check the manufacture date. The lifejackets in question were sold in chandlery shops, marine retail outlets and marine websites throughout the United Kingdom.

If you have an affected lifejacket the PLEASE STOP USING IT IMMEDIATELY. Please remove the gas cylinder manually and return the lifejacket too:

with your full contact details for testing. Any faulty lifejackets will be replaced. Jackets which are tested and found not to be faulty will be returned.
