Safety Alert - Withdrawal of Remploy Lifejacket

Remploy (the manufacturer) has brought to our attention that some lifejackets that have been sold as the ENGLAND’S PROFESSIONAL LIFEJACKET manufactured between the 6 October 1997 and 24 July 2006, from batch numbers referred to in the attached document, all of which have a green outer cover, may have been incorrectly assembled, possibly leading to an inflation failure in the event of manual operation. No matter of concern has been raised regarding their automatic inflation. These lifejackets are being recalled as a precaution for inspection and, where appropriate, repair or replacement.
