Burnham-on-Sea RNLI Lifeboat tasked to investigate persons walking on the mud at low water

This evening, whilst undergoing regular training, the crew of Staines Whitfield were tasked by Swansea Coastguard control (2045 hrs) to investigate a report of three persons walking on the mud, at low water, adjacent to Burnham’s well-known beach lighthouse.
The lifeboat volunteer crew diverted, but by the time they arrived at the location, the persons had left the mud by themselves...
