The Crew

The present crew complement at Beaumaris numbers 19 including two lady crew members. Their occupations cover various trades but none has any connection with the fishing industry.

Simon Bunting (Mechanic)

Simon Bunting has been the station mechanic for over 6 years and has served on Beaumaris Lifeboats for a total of 18 years. He is also one of the West Division ILB Training Assessors and when not on R.N.L.I. duty he can be found skippering a charter boat or on the odd occasion working for a mooring contractor.

Mike Stone (Senior Helm and Training Co-ordinator)

Senior Helmsman Mike Stone has served on all classes of Beaumaris Lifeboat covering ALB's D class, and Atlantics for a total of 26 years.
Mike is a clockmaker by trade and has his business premises in Beaumaris where he sells and services antique clocks.

As well as Senior Helm, Mike has recently taken on the role of Lifeboat Training Co-ordinator.
