About this station
Salcombe lifeboat station has operated an all weather lifeboat for nearly 140 years and the crews have received 18 awards for gallantry. A recent addition to the station is an inshore B class Atlantic 75 lifeboat.

Three RNLI relief fleet inshore lifeboats, funded by generous legacies, will be officially named in the Sea Survival Centre at The Lifeboat College in Poole, Dorset, on Tuesday 2 September.
