About this station
Situated in port of Falmouth, the lifeboat station has operated for nearly 140 years. The station has both an all weather Severn class lifeboat and an inshore B class lifeboat. The crews have been presented with 19 awards for gallantry

Three RNLI relief fleet inshore lifeboats, funded by generous legacies, will be officially named in the Sea Survival Centre at The Lifeboat College in Poole, Dorset, on Tuesday 2 September.

Eight RNLI lifeguards paddled 10 miles on their rescue boards from Whitsand Bay to Looe in Cornwall yesterday to celebrate Lifeguard week and raise money for the Life first campaign.
