About this beach

Trebarwith Strand is a sandy beach at low tide. At high tide the sea comes up to the cliffs. Main access is through a rocky gully through Trebarwith village. The beach is closed two hours either side of high water - access and the gully is closed off to the public as waves surge onto the road during large swells. Is popular with families but is known more for its quality surf.
