About this beach

Widemouth Sands is a mile long bay south of Bude. With easy access it is very popular with surfers and families and has a wide range of facilities nearby including surf hire, cafes and car parks.

Lifeguard season dates

Early season: 9-25 April. Weekends only until 29 April

Main season: 29 April - 25 September
