About this beach
Perranporth is a large resort beach. At low tide it joins with Perran Sands, forming a large beach. During the two hours before/after high water they are cut off from each other. Perranporth beach is popular with surfers and body boarders. There is a large car park on the seafront giving access to the beach as well as the paths through the sand dunes.
Lifeguard season dates
Early season: Easter school holidays 9-25 April. Weekends onlt until 29 April.
Main season: 29 April - 25 Spectember
Late season: October weekends plus October half term week. Finish 30 October
