Durley Chine is a popular beach backed by the promenade lined with beach huts and cliffs. At the main Durley Chine entrance there is a pub, cafe, newsagents and Bournemouth Lifeguard Corps.

Eight RNLI lifeguards paddled 10 miles on their rescue boards from Whitsand Bay to Looe in Cornwall yesterday to celebrate Lifeguard week and raise money for the Life first campaign.
