About this beach
Croyde is a premium surf beach with powerful surf and as a result it can be dangerous with promenant rip currents and heavy sandbars. It is popular with both families and groups who enjoy its relaxed atmosphere and the activites on offer.
Lifeguard season dates
Early season: 22 -29 April
Main season: 29 April - 30 September
Late season: October weekends only and half term week. Finish 30 October
