About this beach
Bournemouth Pier is the busiest beach area and includes many cars, restaurants, amusements arcades, shops and access points. The Kidzone safety scheme is in place, which divides the beach into coloured zones to ensure the safety of the children in each area.

£24,000 cheque presentation

The RNLI was presented with a cheque for £24,000 yesterday by the Freemasons' Grand Charity – the first installment of a 3-year grant worth £72,000.
