About this beach
Bantham beach is the busiest and most popular in South Hams. It has a public car park with toilet facilities. The Bantham Surf Lifesaving Club can be found near the entrance to the beach.
Lifeguard season dates
Early season: 22-25 April (Easter bank holiday wknd only)
Main season: 29 April - 25 September
Late season: Oct weekends plus Oct half term week. Finish 30October
