Mike Armitage LOM
Mike is our Lifeboat Operations Manager. A role that involves overseeing all aspects of the running and operation of the Loch Ness RNLI Lifeboat Station. Mike is a Sector Manager with the Coastguard and is also a Swift Water Technician.

Vivian Bailey
Vivian is a Secondary School Geography Teacher. Keen sailor and one of those odd types that likes walking up hills.

Ewan Cameron
Ewan is our Mechanic and is a member of the Swift Water Rescue Team

Sandra Delday
Sandra is a Crofter. A lively member of the team with a cracking Orcadian accent..

Martin Douglas
Martin is also our Lifeboat Press Officer. He used to be a submariner but is now enjoying being on top of the waves.

Ross Edwards
Ross is one of our helms.

Dick Raynor DLA
Dick is an engineer who skippers a tour boat on the loch and builds underwater tv systems in his spare time

Neil Hillyard
Neil is one of the team Helms and is our Training Co-ordinator

Alan Hogan
Alan is one of our helms and works as a Boat Sales Director.

Stuart Latham
Stuart is a Helm one of our two Geography teachers.

Garry MacLeod
Garry is Senior Helm.

Ian Putnam
Ian is also a Retained Fireman.

Neil Stebbings
Neil is an engineer and has a good deal of experience at sea and running around in powerboats.

Drew Taylor
Drew is a local businessman.

Howie Whyte
Howie is one of the Swift Water Rescue Team.

Loch Ness Lifeboat team

Joy Cameron
Joy is the newest member of our team. She is a specialist in fitness and nutrition and no doubt will shape the team into an impressive bunch of lifesavers! Well here's hoping.

Gordon Menzies
Gordon is part of our Deputy Launch Authority team. A vital role, covering for the Lifeboat Operations Manager when he is unavailable. Gordon is extremely experienced and has been a boat operator on the loch for many years. Along with his brother, Gordon was the original, volunteer rescue service, often called upon by Police and Coastguard to assist with matters on the loch.
