Coxswain Mechanic MARTIN JAGGS
Martin joined the crew in 1988, becoming 2nd Assistant Mechanic in 1992, 2nd Coxswain Mechanic in 1995 and Coxswain Mechanic in 1999.
2nd Coxswain JOHN ATKINSON
John was appointed 2nd Coxswain in 1999 after 6 years on the crew, 5 of them as ILB Helmsman.
Deputy 2nd Coxswain / 2nd Mechanic GARY BIRD
Gary followed the family tradition by joining the Hoylake crew in 1974, rising steadily to become 2nd Coxswain / 2nd Mechanic. Between 1978 and 1988 he was also a crewmember of the West Kirby ILB. He moved to live in Lytham and transferred from the Hoylake crew in 2004. He is now Deputy 2nd Coxswain / 2nd Mechanic of the Lytham Lifeboat as well as a Crew Assessor for the North Division of the RNLI.
3rd Mechanic TIM EDWARDS
Tim joined the crew in 1997 and became an ILB Helmsman in 1998. He was appointed 3rd Mechanic of the ALB in 2000 and between 2003 and 2006 was also a Deputy 2nd Coxswain.
Deputy 2nd Coxswain / ILB Mechanic TOM STUART
Joining in 1996, Tom became an ILB Helmsman in 2000 and ILB Mechanic in 2004. From 2007 he is also a Deputy 2nd Coxswain on the All-weather Lifeboat.
ILB Helmsman SCOTT AINSLIE
After joining the crew in 2001, Scott became an ILB Helmsman in 2005. He also holds the post of Station Training Co-ordinator.
MATTHEW ATKINSON
Matt has been a member of the crew since 1995 and was an ILB Helmsman until 2009
ILB Helmsman JASON BANKS
Jason joined the crew in 2004. After working for the RNLI Training Department for a time is now a paramedic . He became an ILB Helmsman in 2009.
NICKI BIGNELL
Nicki, a Police sergeant, joined the crew in 2008.
ILB Helmsman MIKE CASEY
Mike joined the crew in 1997 being the first in the RNLI to follow through from the Duke of Edinburgh scheme to become a crew member. After time away at University he re-joined the crew and was appointed an ILB Helmsman in 2007. A qualified Senior sailing instructor, he is also Team Manager for the Lancashire Schools sailing squad.
KANE DE 'ATH
Kane became a crewmember in 2006.
GARY DICKERSON
Gary was a crewmember between 2003 and 2006 before moving with work. On his return to Lytham St Annes in 2010 he re-joined
NICK GLASSBROOK
Nick, a local solicitor, has been a member of the crew since 2005.
ROB HAIG
Rob joined as a crewmember in 2011
ANDREW HALL
Andy joined the Shorecrew in 2007 before transferring to Lifeboat crew in 2008.
TREVOR HOLLOWAY
Trevor joined the Shorecrew in 2008 before transferring to the ALB crew in December 2008.
GARY HOLMES
Gary joined as Shorecrew in 2006, transferring to the Crew later that year. He has now trained as an ALB Mechanic

A Chief Officer in the Merchant Navy, Chris joined the crew in 2011

Ric, a Pastor at a local church, has been on the crew since 2003.

Rob joined in 2000.
GARY TILLER
Gary joined the crew in 2001, becoming 2nd Mechanic in 2002. In 2003 he transferred to the Mumbles Lifeboat Station and is now a crew member at the Thames Station of Chiswick. He is still on that crew as well as the Lytham St Annes crew when home.
JON TREVORROW
Jon joined the crew in 2003 and became an ALB mechanic in 2008.
ILB Helmsman SIMON TURPIE
Simon joined the crew in 2006 and became an ILB Helmsman in 2010
ILB Helmsman DANNY WOOD
Danny has been a member of the crew since 2003 and was appointed an ILB Helmsman in 2009.
Head Launcher DAVE FORSHAW
David joined as a Launcher (Shorecrew) in 1984, becoming Head Launcher in 1990.

Peter became a member of the Shorecrew in 2005 and Deputy Head Launcher in 2010
Tractor Driver BRYAN CLARK
Bryan joined as a Launcher (Shorecrew) in 1996, becoming a Tractor Driver in 1999 when the Lifeboat became carriage launched.
Tractor Driver DIGBY MOULDEN
Digby joined the Shorecrew in 2007 and became a driver for the Station's Talus ALB launching tractor the following year.
Tractor Driver ROY TURNER
Roy joined the crew in 1986 and served on both the ALB and ILB until 1992. He re-joined as Shorecrew in 2003 and became a Tractor Driver in 2005.

After a career in the Royal Navy, Nick joined the Shorecrew in 2010

Tandy joined as a Launcher (Shorecrew) in 1989.
DAVE PROCTER
Proccy joined as Shorecrew in 2004. Between 2005 and 2007 he was Station Administration Officer and a DLA before returning to the Shorecrew.
DARREN THORNTON
Darren, a driving instructor, joined the Shorecrew in 2010
SARAH TILLER
Joining as Shorecrew in 2002, Sarah followed her husband Gary in his transfers between stations. Returning to live in Lytham St Annes in 2010, she re-joined the Shorecrew. Sarah is now training to be a Talus launching tractor driver
Lifeboat Medical Adviser (LMA), Dr MIKE REID
Mike has been the "Lifeboat Doctor" since 1975.
Deputy Medical Adviser Dr NICK LOWE
Nick has been the Station's Deputy Lifeboat Medical Adviser since 1994.
Lifeboat Operations Manager (LOM) ANDREW FALLOW
After 14 years on the crew, Andrew hung up his seaboots to become Station Press Officer and Deputy Launching Authority (DLA) in 2002 before becoming the Lifeboat Operations Manager in 2005.
Deputy Launching Authority (DLA) DAVID ATKINSON
Dave has been a DLA since 2001 and is father of 2nd Coxswain John and ILB Helmsman Matt.
Deputy Launching Authority (DLA) DANNY CHESTER
Danny was a member of the Crew between 1973 and 1990. He returned as a DLA in 2006.
Deputy Launching Authority (DLA) ANDREW LANIGAN
Andrew joined as a DLA in 2006.
Deputy Launching Authority (DLA) PETER WHALLEY
Peter joined the crew in 1977 and was 2nd Mechanic from 1987 until he retired 10 years later. He re-joined as a Deputy Launching Authority in 2008.
Lifeboat Press Officer HELEN STUART
Helen, a teacher, became the Station's Press Officer in 2009.
Station Chairman ALLAN WILLIAMS
Joining the Branch Committee in 1977, Allan was appointed Vice-Chairman in 1979 and Chairman in 1984.
Station Treasurer ROBIN UPTON
Robin, a Chartered Accountant and keen sailor, has been Station Treasurer since 1996.
Lifeboat Visits Officer (LVO) FRANK KILROY
Starting as a Launcher (Shorecrew) in 1984, Frank was appointed Head Launcher in 1986 before becoming Station Honorary Secretary (now renamed Lifeboat Operations Manager) in 1990. He retired as LOM in 2005 and is now the Visits Officer for the Station, co-ordinating the many school and other parties which visit each year.
