About this station
During its 180-year history, Blyth lifeboat station has operated both all weather and inshore lifeboats and the lifeboat crews have been presented with 16 awards for gallantry. Today's station operates an inshore D class lifeboat.Recent launches in the north (BST)

Blyth’s D Class (IB1) has been removed from station and temporarily replaced with an identical boat from the RNLI’s relief fleet.
