Volunteer with the RNLI
The people of the UK and RoI depend on the RNLI, and the RNLI depends on its network of more than 40,000 volunteers.
Whatever your skills and wherever you are, there's an RNLI volunteer role for you.

Sea Safety Adviser
As well as providing emergency services, the RNLI also strives to prevent accidents on the water. Around the UK and RoI, volunteers give safety advice, provide SEA Checks to boat owners and give presentations.

Volunteer Lifeguard
Our volunteer lifeguards help provide an integrated rescue and prevention service from the beach to the open sea.

Event Volunteer
From marshalling to handing out medals, helping at a fundraising event ensures our supporters are well looked after.

Office Volunteer
Our lifesaving service is supported behind the scenes at offices across the UK and Ireland. Volunteering opportunities range from administration roles to skills-based projects.
