The Recycling Factory
An environmentally friendly way to raise funds for the RNLI

The Recycling Factory has been in partnership with the RNLI since 2008, helping to raise vital funds through the recycling of used inkjet and toner cartridges, mobile phones and more recently, gadgets such as MP3 players, digital cameras, hand-held game consoles and satellite navigation systems. In 2010, with the generous support of the RNLI supporters, the partnership raised in excess of £130,000. This year the scheme is on course to reach its fundraising target of £175,000, a figure that would not be achievable without RNLI supporters everywhere.
It is a simple way to raise funds for the RNLI’s important lifesaving work while also helping to protect the environment and it couldn’t be easier to get involved. The Recycling Factory will donate up to £4.50 for every inkjet and toner cartridge successfully recycled and up to £15 for every mobile phone and gadget that can be recycled too. Taking part in the scheme comes at no cost to you as all materials are provided free of charge.
