Don't bin them ....... RECYCLE THEM

The RNLI is now using the Collect4 scheme run by Johnson Recycling Ltd. Their free and flexible schemes benefit many organisations nationwide and the cartridge recycling industry alike. Providing organisations with a sustainable revenue stream and the recycling industry with empty cartridges.

Manager for Johnson Recycling Ltd, Ruth Johnson says,
'We are very pleased to be working with the RNLI helping raise funds for the brave volunteer crews and lifeguards who are prepared to risk their lives daily to save those in distress at sea. Recycling old toner and inkjet cartridges is one of the many ways that the public can show their gratitude for their selfless efforts whilst also helping the environment'.
If you would like to arrange for a collection or have an enquiry about donating cartridges either individually or in your workplace, please contact Johnson Recycling:
- phone on 01522 833 334 between 10am and 4pm Monday to Friday
Please note: Johnson Recycling experiences high call volume between 12-2pm - by email
A freepost address is available that supporters can use to donate certain types of inkjet cartridges by post. Due to the cost of postage it is no longer cost effective for the RNLI to provide recycling envelopes. Please only use the freepost address to send back ink cartridges. Toner cartridges cannot be sent back via freepost so please refer to the courier collections. If you are unsure whether you have an ink or toner cartridge please check here.
For small collectors please clearly label your parcel with the freepost address:
