What is a Forever by the Sea fund?

Forever by the Sea funds are a positive and powerful way to honour the life of someone special. By setting up a fund in the name of your loved one, you can turn treasured memories into practical support for courageous volunteer lifeboat crews.

At a time of loss there can be a real need to celebrate a friend or loved one no longer with us. Seeing a Forever by the Sea fund flourish can give a feeling of shared commitment amongst friends and family.

How does it work?

An RNLI tribute fund can help you keep someone’s memory alive whilst helping the RNLI continue to save lives at sea well into the future.

An online fund allows you, your family and friends to:

upload pictures
contribute journal entries about the person the fund is honouring
leave messages of support and remembrance
light a virtual candle
organise and publicise fundraising events and sponsored activities in memory of your loved one
donate via direct debit
give single donations.

We promise to send fund holders twice yearly updates on how the fund is progressing, along with a newsletter full of inspiring ideas and stories.
