The RNLI began its partnership with Landmarc as their nominated charity in October 2005 after being nominated by Landmarc employee and RNLI volunteer crew member Kevin McBay.

Landmarc manages, maintains and operates the army training estates around the UK and the RNLI is now in its second year as Landmarc’s chosen charity partner.

During their first year Landmarc employees managed to raise an amazing £30,000 through a wide range of fundraising activities. Activities included a car (and Winnebago) wash, sponsored bike rides and hikes, a Scalextric Race Day, quizzes and much more.

As part Landmarc's fundraising for the RNLI they are hoping to raise £15,000 through the sale of raffle tickets to win a holiday, kindly donated by Pontins.  This fantastic prize is supported by a number of other prizes including a Virgin hot air balloon flight, an ipod nano and tickets to home Manchester United and Liverpool football games.

Jason Brindle, Head of Sales and Marketing, Pontin’s Holidays says “The RNLI crews make a fantastic contribution to safety and our centres already support them in their local areas.  We are delighted to learn that Landmarc have adopted them as their official charity and hope that the raffle will be a huge success.”

The money raised by Landmarc goes towards the Train one, save many crew training campaign. This money is used to help ensure that RNLI volunteer crew members get the highest standard of training possible, enabling them to carry out rescues safely, swiftly and successfully.

On 29 June 2007, the Landmarc Raffle was drawn. The winning tickets are:

First Prize Mr D Granger (0037), East - Pontins Holiday,  Second Prize Mrs S P Gray (11601), West Midlands - Virgin Balloon Flight,   Third Prize Mr C L Callaway (05594),  Pembrokeshire - ipod Nano,   Fourth Prize, Mr K Oliver (13722), Otterburn - Manchester United Tickets,   Fifth Prize Miss E Humphries (11791), West Midlands - Liverpool FC Tickets,   Sixth Prize Mr A Bennett (09860), South West - Pressure Washer,   Seventh Prize Mr M Best (05471), Pembrokeshire - £30 Travellers World vouchers.
