Bridlington is shop of the year
A dedicated volunteer who runs two shops for the RNLI in Bridlington received an award from the Duke of Gloucester at our Annual Presentation of Awards in London.

Who we are

We are volunteers across the UK and Republic of Ireland united by selflessness, skill and courage.

We provide 24-hour lifeboats and seasonal lifeguards dedicated to saving lives at sea.

Advice on how to avoid getting into trouble in the first place - from lifejackets to beach flags.

The RNLI has 235 lifeboat stations, covering the coasts of UK and RoI, and selected inland waterways.

RNLI lifeguards patrol more than 140 beaches in England and Wales, helping hundreds of thousands of people each year.
