Fundraising is very important to the RNLI. You can help raise money by organising fundraising events. These are some of the activities you can do:

• Sponsored walks, swims, silences or skipping events
• Bake and sell cakes to friends and families
• Wash the teachers’ cars
• Organise a karaoke or quiz at school
• Treasure hunts
• Dressing up days
• Collect old mobile phones
• Start a class penny collection

Once money is collected it goes towards buying many different things from more expensive boats to smaller items of clothing or equipment:
