RNLI answers...Yes is the answer to both your questions! The fastest craft in the fleet is the E class lifeboat, with a top speed of 40 knots.
We do visit schools and groups to give talks and assemblies to children. Ask your teacher or group leader to fill in the online visits form on the Shorething homepage, and maybe we'll see you soon! |

RNLI answers...There are so many different ways you can raise funds for the RNLI. Your school or youth group could hold an event and charge people to come to it, you could get sponsored by your friends and family to do a walk, or swim, or silence, you could join Storm Force, the children's club, or anything else you can think of! |
