| Activities of role |
- To promote the RNLI and its relevant materials at events
- To promote sea safety messages and hand out relevant literature at events
- To provide assistance at specific events such as child safety events, youth events, competitions, quizzes, surveys etc.
- To help supervise young people during activities at events
- To assist with administering surveys and competitions
- To provide the REO with agreed paperwork giving information on activities
- Promoting fundraising opportunities

- To ensure that there is no unsupervised contact with young people, in particular on an individual basis
- To be responsible for personal health and safety
