| Activities of role |
- To present to young people's groups at schools and other youth organisations
- To ensure that the RNLI's core messages are communicated to young people
- To keep you up to date and use materials produced by the RNLI for the youth audience
- To be aware of developments in sea safety education
- To seek out own opportunities for talks/presentations
- To keep records of presentations in a format agreed with the REO
- To provide copies of records to the REO as requested
- To attend training offered by the RNLI

- To make organisations aware, where necessary, of their supervisory responsibilities
- To ensure that there is no unsupervised contact with young people, in particular on an individual basis
- To ensure that the relevant risk assessments are made at the appropriate time
- To be responsible for personal health and safety
